Image licensing and provenance

Know what an image is and what it is not.

Clean Home Lab uses locally hosted, representative photography to help readers recognize a room, material, or task. This register records the source information held for the visual assets used on the site.

How we handle visual assets

Images are editorial illustrations unless a page says otherwise. They do not show that Anna performed the pictured work, used the product, tested a method, or achieved a particular result. Article and tool images do not carry an overlaid photographer credit; the corresponding source record is kept on this page so the reading surface stays clear.

We download assets rather than hotlinking them. Astro creates local responsive derivatives such as AVIF and WebP files; those derivatives inherit the source record below. Cropping, resizing, compression, and tonal adjustments are limited to presentation and must not fabricate a before-and-after result or conceal damage.

License records are time-bound.

The source pages below were recorded during the asset review on 2 September 2026. The original publisher controls its own terms and may change them. This register is a record of our research, not a permanent warranty about a third party's license.

Published guide images

Each published guide has one representative image with a source URL and credit in its content record. Select a guide to see the exact source page used for that image.

Shared site images

The home hero, its mobile crop and social preview share one source record. The tools directory has a separate representative photograph.
