Who publishes this site

Clean Home Lab is an English-language publication operated and edited by Anna in Singapore. The site does not represent that Anna is an incorporated company, and it does not publish a business registration number or street address that does not exist for this project.

Privacy questions and requests should be sent to privacy@czhhsh.com. The mailbox uses Tencent's domain email service; more detail appears under "Email contact."

The default static experience

The site is generated as static HTML, CSS, and browser JavaScript. It does not provide user accounts, a server-side comment system, a newsletter form, checkout, or an on-site contact form. Opening a page still requires a normal web request to the hosting or delivery infrastructure, as described under "Necessary delivery logs."

Calculators, checklists, search, and similar tools are designed to run in the browser. Values entered into a calculation are not intentionally sent to Clean Home Lab or Google. If a tool offers a save function, its interface identifies that behavior and saves the data in browser storage on that device. Removing browser storage, using a private browsing session, or resetting the tool removes or isolates that local copy according to the browser's behavior.

A search term can appear in the page URL. The search logic runs locally, but a URL requested from the server can be present in ordinary delivery logs. Avoid putting a name, email address, health detail, account number, or other sensitive information into a site search or tool.

Necessary delivery logs

When the production site is hosted, its hosting provider, content-delivery network, and security layer may necessarily receive technical request data such as IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or user-agent information, referring page, response status, and security signals. This data supports page delivery, abuse prevention, incident investigation, and service reliability. Clean Home Lab does not use necessary delivery logs to build advertising profiles.

Configured hosting provider: Tencent Cloud CVM; configured region: Singapore (ap-singapore), availability zone ap-singapore-2. Provider processing is also governed by its published terms and privacy information.

Configured log retention: 10 daily compressed rotations, plus the active log. This describes the confirmed production configuration, not a promise that security evidence can never be retained longer where reasonably necessary or required.

Email contact

If you email the site, the message necessarily includes your email address, message content, delivery metadata, and any attachment you choose to send. We use it to read and respond to the enquiry, review a correction or privacy request, protect the mailboxes, and retain an appropriate record of important editorial decisions or unresolved abuse.

The domain mailboxes are provided through Tencent's domain email service. Tencent may process message content and delivery metadata as the email provider under its own terms, security practices, and infrastructure arrangements. Clean Home Lab does not claim a Tencent delivery, availability, storage-location, or response-time service level.

Do not send passwords, government identifiers, financial information, medical records, dangerous-material details, or other secrets. Email is not an emergency channel. Retention depends on the nature of the thread: routine messages may be deleted when no longer useful, while correction, safety, abuse, or rights-request records may be kept longer where reasonably needed.

Optional Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 is not a condition of using the site. It is available only when analytics is offered on the site and the visitor grants optional analytics consent. The default Consent Mode setting is analytics_storage: denied. The site is designed not to activate GA4 measurement or its analytics cookie until that choice is granted.

When granted, GA4 may process page paths, session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, and limited events such as using a calculator, printing, or following a source link. The implementation is designed to exclude URL query strings, free-text search terms, calculation inputs, checklist content, and email data from analytics events. Google states that GA4 can use an IP address during collection for routing, security, and coarse location and discards raw IP addresses before Analytics data is logged. GA4 commonly uses the first-party _ga cookie to hold a pseudonymous client identifier.

The site's GA configuration disables Google signals and advertising-personalization signals. Google remains an independent service provider with its own processing and retention controls. See Google's GA4 data collection description, regional collection explanation, and privacy policy.

Optional analytics is available only after you choose to allow it.

AdSense, advertising, and Google privacy messages

Advertising is an optional feature that may be introduced after AdSense approval and the required privacy settings are in place. The site does not serve an ad merely because an AdSense account identifier exists. If advertising is active, ads appear only on eligible article pages after the applicable consent or opt-out choices have been handled. The site does not use automatic advertising placements; an eligible article must explicitly opt in. Search, tools, category, contact, legal, author, and error pages are not ad placements.

If advertising is available, an ordinary Google-enabled content page may request Google's Funding Choices privacy-message loader even when that page has no ad slot. That initialization lets Google determine which regional message or saved choice applies before an eligible article can request an ad. The request can expose ordinary delivery data such as the page URL, IP address, date and time, browser or device information, and existing consent signals to Google. Trust and legal pages, including this privacy page, disable the loader.

When AdSense is active on an eligible page, a browser request to Google can include the page URL, IP address, browser or device information, date and time, and advertising or consent signals. Google and approved advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies, including pixel tags or web beacons, to deliver and measure ads, limit repetition, prevent fraud, and, only where the relevant choice permits, personalize advertising. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, active advertising requires a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework. The message provides the choices applicable to the configured advertising purposes before ad storage or personalization is allowed. Google explains its publisher CMP requirement.

For visitors in US states supported by Google's Privacy & messaging system, the applicable state message is shown before advertising is requested. That regional message can provide a Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information or similar opt-out control where configured. The exact rights depend on location and applicable law; the site does not describe every visitor as having the same statutory right. See Google's US-state message documentation.

For EEA, UK, and Swiss consent choices, use European advertising choices in the footer of a Google-enabled page when that control is available. US-state choices are presented through Google's separate regional control. Browser cookie controls and Google's ad settings provide additional controls. Withdrawing a choice affects future processing from that browser; it cannot retroactively remove an ad already delivered or data already processed under an earlier choice.

Advertising is not currently active on this site. If it is introduced later, the privacy choices described above will appear before eligible ads are requested.

Cookies and browser storage at a glance

• Local tool data: optional device-side storage used only when a tool says it can save progress.
• Analytics choice: clean-home-lab:analytics-consent:v1 in local storage records granted or denied on that browser.
• GA4: analytics cookies such as _ga may be created only after analytics is available and you grant consent.
• Advertising and CMP: Google or approved partners may use cookies or similar identifiers only after the applicable approval, regional message, and consent or opt-out configuration permits the request.

External links

Guide sources link to manufacturers, public authorities, standards organizations, and other external publishers. Following a link sends a request to that external site, which receives ordinary request data and applies its own privacy policy. Clean Home Lab does not control external cookies, logs, embedded content, or retention.

International processing

Anna operates the publication from Singapore. Email, hosting, analytics, CMP, and advertising providers may process data in more than one country under their service arrangements. Privacy protections and access by public authorities can differ by location. Optional Google processing remains subject to the choices and conditions described above.

Your requests and choices

Depending on where you live and the processing involved, you may have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain personal data, to withdraw consent, or to complain to an appropriate privacy authority. These rights are not identical in every jurisdiction and may be subject to verification and lawful exceptions.

Send a request to privacy@czhhsh.com with enough detail to identify the relevant email thread or interaction. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why limited verification is reasonably necessary. Because there are no user accounts, we may be unable to associate an anonymous log or aggregate analytics record with a named person.

Children

The publication is written for a general household audience and is not designed to solicit personal information from children. Do not use email or tools to submit a child's personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent personal information can contact the privacy mailbox for review.

Policy changes

This policy will be updated when the production host, retention settings, Google configuration, mail arrangement, or site data flow materially changes. The effective date at the top identifies the published version. A previous statement cannot override a current service configuration or rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived.
