Who is behind the site
Clean Home Lab is written, published and edited by Anna in Singapore. Anna selects topics, reviews sources, writes and edits every guide, and is responsible for corrections. The site does not present Anna as a chemist, licensed contractor, appliance technician, hygienist, or other credentialed specialist.
The word "Lab" describes a structured editorial approach. It does not mean that the site is an accredited laboratory, a testing facility, a trade service, or a multi-person newsroom.
What we publish
Our scope is ordinary household cleaning and bounded upkeep: identifying a material, removing routine soil, caring for user-serviceable parts, and building a sensible maintenance rhythm. Guides include compatibility checks, a spot test, chemical boundaries, stop conditions, and links to the primary materials used during review.
We do not turn gas, electrical, structural, plumbing, hazardous-material, major mold, pest, flood, or contamination work into casual do-it-yourself instructions. When diagnosis, disassembly, code compliance, or specialized protective equipment is central to the task, the guide directs the reader to a manufacturer or qualified local professional.
What "source reviewed" means
A guide marked source reviewed has been compared with relevant first-party material, such as a product manual, manufacturer care page, government safety guidance, or recognized standards body. The method is then edited to preserve material limits and disagreements between sources.
That label does not mean Anna performed the procedure, photographed it, measured a result, or verified every product variation. A guide may be described as field verified only when the site holds appropriate records for the exact task. We do not convert a representative image into evidence of a test.
A current label, owner manual, warranty instruction, safety notice, or local requirement for the exact product takes priority over a general article on this site.
Editorial independence and advertising
Editorial conclusions are not set by advertisers. Advertising, if enabled after the site's separate approval and consent checks, is visually and technically separated from the research process. Payment or product access cannot buy a safety claim, a favorable conclusion, or removal of a material limitation. Any future commercial relationship that could reasonably affect a page will be disclosed on that page.
Contact and accountability
Questions about a guide, its sources, or a possible error can be sent to editorial@czhhsh.com. Use the corrections process for a specific factual or safety concern. General enquiries can be sent to contact@czhhsh.com.
