Accountability and authorship
Anna, based in Singapore, writes the site's articles and is its publisher and editor. A review credit means she checked the page under the published methodology. It must not be read as a claim that she personally performed the task, owns the product, took the image, or holds a professional credential.
We do not publish invented biographies, unnamed expert approval, fabricated quotations, or a team identity that does not exist. A contributor or specialist added in the future must be named with a role that can be accurately described.
Accuracy and usefulness
A page must solve a distinct household problem, identify where the method applies, and disclose important exclusions. Citations must support the surrounding claim. We remove unsupported superlatives, guaranteed outcomes, false precision, and advice that depends on a surface or model the reader cannot identify.
Product labels, manuals, safety notices, warranties, and applicable local requirements take priority. We do not collapse different manufacturer instructions into a universal formula.
Safety and scope
Guides use a mild, low-abrasion starting point where the evidence supports it. They include spot tests, ventilation and protective measures where relevant, instructions never to mix incompatible cleaners, and clear stop conditions. Work requiring trade diagnosis, regulated handling, specialized protective equipment, or access to dangerous systems falls outside our light-maintenance scope.
Sources and quotations
We favor first-party sources: product documentation, manufacturer support, government guidance, and standards organizations. A source list records publisher, title, URL, and review date. Quotations are kept short, attributed, and used only when exact wording materially helps; most guidance is independently summarized.
Images and visual evidence
Every published image must have a recorded source, creator where known, and usage basis. We do not hotlink editorial assets or use images with unclear rights. Cropping, resizing, compression, and basic tonal correction may improve presentation, but edits must not fabricate cleaning performance, hide damage, or turn one condition into a false before-and-after comparison.
Stock or licensed photography is labeled by context as representative and is never proof of Anna's experience. AI-generated or materially synthetic visuals, if ever used, must be clearly identified and may not serve as evidence of a product, test result, defect, or repair outcome. Process evidence requires retained records tied to the exact procedure.
AI-assisted editing
AI-assisted language tools may help organize a draft, flag repetition, suggest plain-language edits, or check structural consistency. They cannot be cited as authority, invent facts or experience, choose a safety boundary without source support, or publish autonomously. Anna reviews the complete text, verifies the cited pages, and remains responsible for the final decision.
Commercial influence
Advertising systems and editorial decisions are separated. An advertiser, manufacturer, or service provider cannot purchase a conclusion, evidence label, ranking, or omission. Any future sponsorship, supplied product, affiliate relationship, or other material connection relevant to a page must be disclosed clearly near the affected content.
Updates, removal, and corrections
We update a page when evidence, product instructions, or a material safety boundary changes. We may unpublish content that cannot be brought back to standard. Material factual or safety errors receive a correction note; routine spelling, style, accessibility, and formatting changes may be made without one.
